Although it seemed like we didn't have much of a summer out here with the uncooperative weather, we did hit have some fun.

The girls recently starting taking gymnastics and have really enjoyed... they get to jump, tumble and roll, plus there are now boys.

donut day

on friday we celebrated a family tradition of getting free donuts at Krispy Kreme on National Donut Day... both of the girls went with the chocolate sprinkle donuts. kiana likes to dig right in, but malia prefers to eat the sprinkles off first.

clean teeth

the girls recently went to the dentist for their 6-month check-up/cleaning. They currently love going because they get stickers and silly glasses (and haven’t yet had a need for any work done). However, kiana will likely be getting a tonsillectomy soon and we’re not sure if the stickers/toys, or even a week of ice cream, will be enough to erase the memory…
